Hey, I’m Avery.

I’m so glad you are here.

I’m a Functional Nutritional Therapy and Restorative Wellness Practitioner with a love of wellness, gardening, dark chocolate, mushroom coffee, animals, and holistic health.

I’m here to help you find the answers you’ve been seeking by getting to the true root cause, getting in tune with your body, and supporting you every step of the way to support your fertility and health.

About Me:

“I want to help women have access to knowledge and gain a sense of empowerment by choosing to take care of themselves.”

Our bodies are highly intelligent, and naturally know what they need, and as humans in today's world, I think we've forgotten that we already have our internal guidance system. Nutrition and how it can help heal the body, is a concept I believe most people don't know about, and is ultimately, one of my passions. I'm fascinated by how clean and wholesome food can be medicine for the body and I want to help women have access to knowledge and gain a sense of empowerment by choosing to take care of themselves while honoring how they are feeling.

Your healing journey can be thought of as peeling back the layers of an onion; each layer revealing the deeper-seeded issues driving dysfunction. The undiscovered pathogens/parasites were the outer layer + deeper layers of onion for me. I am here to show you that when you begin to support the body in the way it needs to be, everything changes. I’m passionate about sharing what I have learned working with women and sharing the knowledge along the way into practice. With more than 7 years of nutrition education, I understand the importance of getting to the root cause of the symptoms and the best methods for creating lifelong habits. I hope to inspire you to get curious about your health, listen to your intuition, and embark on the path toward the root cause(s) of your most pressing symptoms.

My Why:

My mom is the reason I am passionate about hormones and fertility issues. She and my dad struggled with fertility for quite some time. Their solution at the time was IVF. My mom never was a person to go the conventional route, but she wanted to have a baby so badly. Fast forward, she ended up with 3. When I was a freshman in high school, my mom was diagnosed with breast cancer. Her diagnosis led her down the path of discovering the root of her diagnosis. I don't know any associated symptoms my mom had before her diagnosis because she never shared them with me. (Symptoms are the body's way of letting us know something is off.)

Cancer often doesn't provide us with symptoms until it's too late. But what if we intervened before symptoms arose?

My mom passed in 2018 from health complications. I have wondered what underlying issues were at the core of her fertility issues and cancer diagnosis.

  • Was she experiencing estrogen metabolism issues?

  • Were parasites a reason for fertility issues?

  • Did she experience problems with methylation?

Did she have:

  • Exposure to estrogen disruptors?

  • Blood sugar issues?

  • Issues within her gut? Elevated beta-glucuronidase?

  • Excessive inflammation?

So many things run through my head. What if she looked at these things? Would things be different? That I can't answer, and I know my mom wouldn't want me to think that way. But, I can use what I know to help other women dealing with these issues.

I am here to support you in your journey through hormone balance and fertility. Let's get to the root cause of your WHY!  We simply have to dig deeper. I am honored to help you do so.

xoxo,

Avery
